Local
companies are involved in heavy metallurgy as successful
bidders of large infrastructure works using their
own technologies and foreign licenses, building turbines
for hydraulic generators, valves, cranes, pipes, metal
structures etc.
In the area of light metallurgic industry, production
is oriented to machines to break up products, cold
storage equipment, devices for the production of food
and drinks, and tools for agricultural and chemical
activity.
